Penzance Open Tennis Tournament

A number of club members once again made the journey to Cornwall for the 75th Penzance Open in 2025, the 29th year with our Club Captain, Steve Wynn, acting as Tournament Referee.

Success for club members as follows:

Ladies 55+ Doubles – winner Sue Sergeant with Esther Symmonds (Oxford)

Ladies 65+ Doubles – runner up Hazel Wynn with Pat Shields (Cheshire)

Mixed 60+ Doubles – runner up Sue Sergeant with Hugh Fixsen (Oxford)

The dates for the 2026 tournament are Sunday 26th July to Saturday 1st August. 

This will be Steve’s 30th year as Tournament Referee so we hope to have as many club members enter as possible.
