Some wins for club members at the recent Southend & District Winter Tournament Finals Day. Greg Huggett & Sue Sergeant beat Duncan Taylor & Sarah Jolley in a hard fought match to take the Mixed Over 45 Doubles title. Greg & Duncan then teamed up in the Mens Over 45 Doubles but had to settle for runners up spot as did Chrissie Christou in the Mixed Over 35 Doubles final. Sue won her second match of the day in the Ladies Singles Consolation final coming through in a deciding championship tiebreak, whilst Tom Reader & Karen Clark had a comfortable win in the Mixed Doubles Consolation final. Very well done to all participants from the club!
