A very enjoyable evening at the club for another of Bez’s multimedia quizzes. Six teams battled over ten rounds of questions, having to decide on the 10th question of each round whether to risk answering the “jeopardy” question to either double or risk losing all points for that round! And it went down to the wire with a tiebreak question required to decide the winning team! Team captains Sue Blainey and Mark Eldridge faced each other with Sue providing the winning answer to secure victory for her team! Very well done to the winning team of Sue, Wendy, Darren, Jim, Jayne, John & Belinda! Many thanks to Bez for all his hard work preparing and presenting the quiz, Carol for checking all the answer sheets and scores, and Jane & Phil for looking after the bar. Donations of £100 each will be made to Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Gurkha Welfare Trust in memory of club member Pat Thrale.
