Double success for Westcliff Lawn at the Leigh & Westcliff Summer Cup finals day! Our Mixed team consisting of Dan Thrale & Sarah Jolly and Dan & Gill Sanderson beat Westcliff Hard with Dan Sanderson & Sarah winning a nail-biting shootout championship tiebreak to decide the match! Our Mens team then went on against Rayleigh with Dan Thrale & Stefan Protic winning in straight sets whilst Dan Sanderson & Duncan Taylor, after losing a tight first set, then taking their second set to clinch the title for us! Congratulations to both teams overcoming the difficult windy conditions at Thorpe Bay! And well done also to players who represented the club in previous rounds of the competitions and helped to get our teams to the finals! Many thanks to our supporters too, their presence was much appreciated!
Two Leigh & Westcliff Cup titles for WLTC!
